“There has to be a better way!”
Back in 2012, the team behind Good Grants were hearing stories from people we knew, entering, judging and managing awards. They were all saying the same thing— “There has to be a better way!” We listened. Then set out to solve all the problems, and heal the pain we were hearing. And launched Award Force, software-as-a-service.
Then a funny thing happened. Grantmakers started asking us if they could use Award Force to manage their grant programs— they weren’t satisfied with other solutions they’d been trying. So we took the best from Award Force: the infrastructure, best-practice security technology and design principles and layered grant specific capabilities on top to create a premium, world-class grantmaking, scholarship and corporate-giving product. Good Grants, software-as-a-service was born.
We’ve been focussed on operating our bootstrapped business to be financially sustainable, growing by reinvesting profit. Our company is independent to this day, with no outside funding. We’re not spending time and energy courting investors and raising rounds, but on continuously improving and innovating our products and our 5-star service.
